Make your garden "green" with this hoe made from reused combine and hay swather teeth.
I design and build my garden tools in the ranch country of Montana where sickle sections are plentiful. We always love going out to ranches to pick up the sickle sections and rummage through other finds in the scrap metal pile. A sickle section is a tooth from the cutting bar on a combine or hay swather. These sections are replaced once or twice a year during hay season as the mowers hit rocks in the pastures. Some are undamaged and they find the perfect second life as the cutting head for a Fisher Blacksmithing tool. The sickle-section hoe is the first and most popular in our line of tools using repurposed items.
"These are the most beautiful garden tools I have ever seen or set my hands." -Brian D.
