Every heirloom quality Fisher Blacksmithing garden tool is handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana by Tuli Fisher, who has been a farrier and blacksmith for over 25 years. All joinery is done using solid steel rivets, and handles are made from hand turned American black walnut. Great construction that's worth every penny!

I've been an avid gardener since I was a child. My mom would find a twig and break it to the length the seeds needed planted apart. She'd show me which knuckle to push to for seed depth. She planned the seed of love in me for gardening. I've gone through so many tools from the major stores that don't even last a season! Tired of throwing money away? Buying quality saves you money, irritation and a visit to the doctor for sutures, a tetanus vaccine, antibiotics, risk of infection, etc. when the cheap tool breaks and you slice yourself open. I've used this type of tool before and loved it because I want to pull the taproot out add there's lots of bioavailable nutrients when I ferment/compost my weeds. It's well- balanced and digs right in through gravel and caliche with just a little pressure and levers weeds right out. I love supporting a small business that deserves many kudos for listening to the tool user and combining it with their blacksmithing skills to make beautiful, safe and strong tool. I will be purchasing a full set of their tools. They are worth every penny from what I've seen so far. I would recommend they include a side photo to show the depth that the tool's shank/tang is embedded in the handle. Extremely well made!
