These sections are replaced once or twice a year during hay season as the mowers hit rocks in the pastures. The usable sickle sections are found strolling through fields and rummaging through scrap metal piles. Every heirloom quality Fisher Blacksmithing garden tool is handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana by Tuli Fisher, who has been a farrier and blacksmith for over 25 years. Tools are crafted one at a time using traditional blacksmithing techniques. Steel is heated to a red glow in the forge and then shaped over an anvil with a hammer. All joinery is done using solid steel rivets, and handles are made from hand turned American black walnut. Each tried and true design is an example of fine American Craft and built to last a lifetime.
