Designed as a light weight tool for harvest time, this ornate Crescent Moon Harvester is great for bringing in your vegetables from the garden. Forged from stainless steel this tool has a beautiful old world shape and the blade is joined with its hand turned Black Walnut handle with brass rivets. This tool comes with a hand stitched leather blade cover too. The Crescent Moon Harvester is extremely sharp and offers a variety of blade angles to work with. Harvest fresh garden greens, forage fungi in the forest, or cut twine with this beautiful and functional tool.

Every heirloom quality Fisher Blacksmithing garden tool is handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana by Tuli Fisher, who has been a farrier and blacksmith for over 25 years. Tools are crafted one at a time using traditional blacksmithing techniques. Steel is heated to a red glow in the forge and then shaped over an anvil with a hammer. All joinery is done using solid steel rivets, and handles are made from hand turned American black walnut. Each tried and true design is an example of fine American Craft and built to last a lifetime.

Beautiful as it is functional

I purchased this tool as a birthday present and it did not disappoint! The person loves it! It’s gorgeous and they have found that it works really well for a lot of their harvesting and foraging needs. When they aren’t using it it gets displayed like a work of art. 10/10 would buy again!

The workmanship in both the Crescent Moon Harvester and it's protective leather cover is exquisite. Such a useful field tool. I'm looking forward to early harvest out in the herb beds.

Everything I expected and then some

I got this as a gift for my wife who absolutely loved it. The tool itself is beautiful and Immaculate but it also came with a leather sheath that can be attached to a belt and a burlap carrying sack. In the age of shrinkflation, products and companies like this deserve to be supported and I encourage anyone reading this review to find an excuse to purchase something from this blacksmith for that reason alone if no other.
